www.sexandculture.org Public Memorial For The Late Porn Star, Director John Leslie Sunday, January 29 at 5:30pm The Center For Sex And Culture In San Francisco, CA
From Carol Queen:
San Francisco, January 20, 2012: On Sunday, January 29, at 5:30pm, survivors, friends and fans of porn polymath John Leslie
will gather for a memorial circle to honor him
at the Center for Sex & Culture. CSC is located in San Francisco at 1349 Mission near 10th Street.
Porn great John Leslie died in December 2010; this gathering will be held just a few days after the anniversary of his birthday
to remember a life that changed erotic imagery as much as any other porn star of the Golden Age or beyond.
Join John's longtime friend and colleague Richard Pacheco (pictured with him above, during the time period when made porn
classic Talk Dirty to Me [a take-off of the Steinbeck novella Of Mice and Men]), his widow Kathleen Nuzzo, and the Center
for Sex & Culture community to honor John's memory. A true renaissance man (of porn and many other creative endeavors), John's
life will be commemorated with film clips and a memory circle starring his friends, colleagues and fans.
No charge - donations to CSC, a nonprofit educationalk organization, will be gratefully accepted. Refreshments provided.
The memory circle will be videotaped for archival purposes, but participants may ask that the camera be turned off (or away
from them) if they choose.
