DomCon LA, America's largest professional and lifestyle domination convention, will be at the Sheraton Four Points at LAX for the 2006 convention, while the largest Dungeon on The West Coast - the 7000 square foot Passive Arts Studios - has been named DomCon's Official Dungeon for Friday Nights DomCon Play Party and Saturday Nights DomCon Fetish Ball. The four day event will be held Thursday, April 13 through Sunday, April 16.

There will be more vendors with Whips, Floggers, Restraints, Leather ad Latex, corsets, Shoes and Boots, sex toys and just about anything else you may want. DomCon will present an unprecedented 23 workshops and seminars over the three day convention. Some of the topics include Edge Play, Flogging, Tickling, Humiliation, Violet Wad Rope Bondage and Suspension, Fire Cupping and Knife Play. Presenters include Master Skip Chasey, Joan Kelly, Master Orpheus, Don Sir, Princess Kali, slave pug, Rev Bob Goss, Dave Rhodes, Insatiable Amazon and Lord Ross.

There will also be some special classes on the current 2257 laws with Free Speech Coalition Attorney Jeffrey Douglas and a two-part medical safety seminar complete with CDC handouts by a well-known Physician from the East Coast who has spoken at Black Rose and Beat Me in St Louis. Also scheduled are Panel Discussios on 'Ethics in The Community' , a Dominant's Discussion Group and a Submssives Discussion Group.

There are more than 125 Special Gusts coming from all over the USA and Europe to attend DomCon. DomCon LA brings the hottest fetish models, leather vendors and an art show with works by Jay E. Moyes, Veronica Vinyl, and E. N. Cuire. Moyes will be showing a select group of his latest pen and ink female dominant and fetish artwork at this show. Some of these pieces were featured in the soon to release adult horror feature 'The New Neighbors' directed by Frank Castle for production company SLLAB.

The nightly events will start on Thursday Night with The Meet and Greet at 8:00 PM. Friday Night is the long-awaited DomCon Play Party while Saturday Night is The DomCon Fetish Ball featuring one of L.A.'s top Industrial Goth bands, 'SkumLove'. Three DJ's will also be spinning a wide array of retro 80's Industrial and Trance for all the tortured souls of the night to dance and play to. There will also be a very special hook suspension of Mistress Omega an Sir Slave, and the Duggeon will also be open for BDSM play. Sunday Night is when people let loose and conclude the weekend with an After Show Party.

It started as a concept of Mistress Cyan in Los Angeles a number of years ago when she noticed a disparity and disassociation between those involved in Professional Domination and those in "The Lifestyle". In August 2003, The Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood was chosen as the location to host DomCon LA 2004. America's Top Professional Dominatrices, Switches, submissives and Fetish Models registered to attend, and even some from Europe and Tokyo, Japan sent their registrations... Soon thereafter, Exhibitor Booths sold out and what began as a Los Angeles regional event quickly became a National Event within 60 days.

DomCon LA 2004 broke new ground and has set new standards that many other Adult-Oriented Conventions are striving to match. DonCon LA was the first convention to feature a Main Stage on the Convention Floor to present Demos, conduct performances and feature Exhibitor Showcases. DomCon was the first Convention successfully bring those in Professional Domination and those in The BDSM and Leather Lifestyle together on the same level at the same place and time.

The weekend convention was packed, The Friday Night Meet and Greet drew almost 400 people and the Saturday Night Play Party was sold out with more than 350 in attendance. DomCon LA 2004 was warmly embraced by the entire BDSM Community, and the success of the event far exceeded the expectations of everyone involved. But even before DomCon LA 2004 started, Mistress Cyan was making plans with Ms Whip of Atlanta to present DomCon on the East Coast. Naturally, Atlanta was chosen as the location and the prestigious Hilton Hotel was named as the host hotel. DomCon Atlanta 2004 was held over the weekend of November 11th through November 14th, 2004, Organizing and presenting a convention over 2000 miles away from home proved to be a monumental task, but despite the logistics, DomCon Atlanta was a great success.

DomCon LA returned to The Beverly Garland in 2005 with a convention even bigger and better than before. The convention was expanded to three days of exhibiting, and a full schedule of nghtly events including with The Meet and Greet on Thursday night, The DomCon Fetish Ball on Friday night, The DomCon Play Party on Saturday night and The After Show Party on Snday night, ad was all on site !!!

DomCon returned to Atlanta in November 2005 with the beautiful Magnolia Manor Hotel, formerly The Radisson, as the conventions host hotel and Ms Whips extraordinary dungeon, 1763, hosting the Friday night and Saturday night festivities. The Convention was embraced by the Atlanta Community as community politics were set aside for a weekend to come together in the spirit of unity . DomCon hosted and unprecedented 22 workshops over the weekend with each being standing room only. For the first time, The Gay Leather Communty showed up en force and in support of DomCon, truly bringing all the communities together as one. Now DomCon returns home to Los Angeles for what should be it's biggest and best convention yet.
