The Annual Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo will be returning to the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from Aug.31 - Sept.2. However, there will be quite a few changes from the last time the Expo was held at the world famous hotel and casino (in 2001 and 2002).

The tradeshow, panel sessions and registration area will all be located at Mandalay Bay's brand new Convention Center. The Center is clearly visible in the background behind Mandalay Bay's famous pool/beach area, and features 1.8 million square feet of space including a '4-Diamond Resort.' A portion of that resort includes 'THEhotel': over 1,000 luxurious two-room suites, boasting the highest square footage of any standard hotel room in the city. Each room contains two TVs - a 32-inch flat screen and a 13-inch wall-mounted plasma screen - as well as a CD/DVD player in each room and many other amenities. Expo attendees should ask for the special Expo room rate at THEhotel. For Expo attendees, you won't have to go far for food or to shop. The Convention Center contains a food court, while 'Mandalay Place' - a collection of 41 unique boutiques and restaurants - is located on the skybridge between Mandalay Bay and Luxor.

For the first time in the history of the Expo, the Tradeshow will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday only. However, the total of Tradeshow hours are identical to past Expos. At Expo 2004, the Tradeshow will be open from 2-8 pm on Tuesday August 31, and 1-8 pm on Wednesday September 1 for a total of 13 hours. By concentrating the tradeshow hours over two days we believe it will make the exhibit time more productive for both exhibitors and attendees. In order to ensure that Expo attendees have their badges in time to enter the Tradeshow at 1 pm on Tuesday, Expo registration - for pre-registered attendees only - will open on Monday afternoon at 3 pm. Because of the change in Tradeshow hours, the hours for the panel sessions have changed slightly as well. On Wednesday, the panels will wrap up shortly after 1 pm (to coincide with the opening of the Tradeshow). The Thursday panels, however, will run from 10 am-4 pm (approximately), and will conclude with an attendee/exhibitor mixer directly following the final session. This mixer will give attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to meet and mingle in a quiet, relaxed environment.

Larry Flynt Gives Keynote Address, Private Legal Symposium Set

As anyone who has attended more than one Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo can surely attest, no two Expos are ever the same. And while we are returning to Mandalay Bay in 2004, the Expo line-up bares very few similarities to the last Mandalay Bay-hosted Expo in 2002. Here are two special events that will make the 12th Annual Gentlemen's Club Expo a truly unique affair.

Keynote Address by Larry Flynt
For the first time since Expo 2001, we are featuring a Keynote Address. But this will be no ordinary Keynote speaker; on the contrary, the 2004 Expo Keynote Address will be provided by none other than Hustler's Larry Flynt. Flynt, who is now involved in the adult nightclub indstry via the Larry Flynt's Hustler Clubs (operated by the Deja Vu chain), is scheduled to offer his Keynote Address on Thursday, September 2. Perhaps the country's most well known freedom of speech advocate, Flynt will speak to Expo attendees about his political battles on behalf of the First Amendment, and will explain how important the upcoming Presidential Election is to the survival of the adult entertainment industry.

Both Tuesday's 'Opening Night Party' and Wednesday's 'Club Owners Appreciation Party' will be held outside of Mandalay Bay, and both will be held at one of the top gentlemen's clubs in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday evening, the Opening Night Party heads to an adult nightclub for the first time at the beautiful Spearmint Rhino gentlemen's club, which recently completed an extensive renovation and expansion. Special guest performances will be provided by adult film starlets Devinn Lane and Sydnee Steele.

On Wednesday evening, the Club Owners Appreciation Party lands at the $30 million Sapphire Club, perhaps the largest adult nightclub in the world (see this issue's cover story). Once again, the party will feature give-aways from exhibitors and other vendors, and will include performances by top feature entertainers.

Exotic Dancer will be welcoming Haze XXXperience as one of its exhibitors this year at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. They'lll have all the toyz on display and offer a generous discount to those purchasing from the expo floor. There will be a special event this year at the booth -- Summer Haze & Craig Valentine, both XXX film stars, are celebrating their one year wedding anniversary.
