The 27th annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo, the internationally acclaimed Celebration of Flesh, Fetish, and Fantasy, and - according to E! Entertainment TV - 'The World's #1 Wildest and Sexiest Party,' comes back to Halloween Weekend. The Ball, which has been titillating San Francisco audiences with stimulating festivities for over a quarter-century, will be held on Saturday Night, October 28, 2006, 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Leading up to the Ball will be the popular Exotic Erotic Expo - a two-day event which begins October 27th at Noon, and runs through the Ball. The roster of stars scheduled to appear at the Expo and Ball is a virtual who's-who of adult entertainment. The talent confirmed to meet and greet the fans includes star of "Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party," Sunny Lane; longtime favorite and Ball co-emcee, Violet Blue, and from Wicked Pictures, Devinn Lane will host the MILF MAKEOVER CONTEST. The History Of The Ball:

Perry Mann organized the first Exotic Erotic Ball in 1979 to raise campaign funds for his buddy, the late Louis Abolafia, who ran for President under the Nudist Party with the slogan: 'I have nothing to hide.' Louis also coined the phrase, 'Make love, not war!' and his legendary Greenwich Village love-ins inspired the New York press to crown him 'The Love King.'

Since its first year, more than 250,000 people have attended the Ball. The City of San Francisco has issued three proclamations for 'Exotic Erotic Ball Day,' twice by former Mayor Willie Brown in 1999 and again in 2001, and once by current Mayor Gavin Newsom in 2004.

Celebrity guests and performers have included Grace Jones, Joan Jett, Kool and the Gang, Chris Isaak, Sugar Ray, Dennis Rodman, Digital Underground, Ron Jeremy, Tabitha Stevens, Morris Day and the Time, Motorhead, Superbooty, Love and Rockets, The Tubes, and Nina Hartley. In 2001, Mann (with a forward by Dennis Rodman) released the book: The Exotic Erotic Ball: Twenty Years of the World's Sexiest Party. Over the last quarter-century, the ball has turned from local legend to world-renowned festival celebrating human sexuality and freedom of expression.

'The premise to the festival has always been simple,' says Mann. 'We give people a safe haven to act out their fantasies, within the law, of course. We attract men and women of all ages, heterosexuals, lesbians, gays, and transsexuals. We welcome students, teachers, lawyers, stockbrokers, secretaries, doctors, nurses, and government employees. At our San Francisco Ball, people come from all over the Bay Area, and about a third of our crowd comes from outside the Bay Area. The SF Ball hosts an annual blood drive with Blood Centers of the Pacific.
