From FICEB:Festival Internacional De Cine Erotico De Barcelona, the Barcelona Erotic Film Festival will open its doors to the 16th edition next June 26th in Sala Fabrik in Madrid. After
15 editions in Barcelona Festival Internacional De Cine Erotico De Barcelona decides to move to Madrid, the capital where most of the industry's companies now have their headquarters and the biggest
part of the revenue, above all in new tendencies and consumer formats.
Festival Internacional De Cine Erotico De Barcelona was born and consolidated in Barcelona as a film festival, offering each year a vast selection of film proposals and awarding
the best productions. The organization, that has received the support by the exhibiting companies and the professional associations,
wants to build a new model in Spain's capital that stays founded on the main idea of this festival but with an improvement
of the quality and diversity of its offer for adult content and the adaptation to new technologies that prevails in the industry.
Between the days June 26th, 27th and 28th more than 150 artists from Spain and other countries and more than 60 international
companies will offer an eclectic program, entertaining, professional and educating in the four sections of the venue Fabrik
- Hard Zone, Party Zone, Artist Zone and Commercial - that will combine shows, star system and promotional activities in order
to bring the public closer to the best proposals of adult entertainment. Adult film director Max Cortes will be the spokes
person of this 16th edition.
Festival Internacional De Cine Erotico De Barcelona will show the best adult films, the most innovating erotic art and the possibilities that new technologies bring to the industry.
There will also be a program to teach new adult film directors as well as the possibilities to get to know new business areas
for the professionals that will attend this meeting. The participation of the public in contests, castings and activities
will take place in the Social Club.
NINFA AWARDS
FICEB was born as a film festival and after 15 editions it has managed to maintain it's core essence, combining it with the
increasing possibilities that open up adult entertainment. True to its beginnings, the festival honors the year's best productions,
with the Ninfa Awards,. Guillermo Hernáiz, Jordi Costa, Pedro Calleja, Pepe Cera and Nicky Shiller, make up this edition's
Jury, presided by Juanma Bajo Ulloa.
TRIBUTE TO TERA PATRICK
Retrospectives and tribute to adult cinema's most important professionals This year FICEB offers a tribute to Tera Patrick,
who will be present at the festival, for her carreer as an actress, director and producer of adult films. Patrick, one of
the world's most popular film stars, was discovered in San Francisco by a model agency and started out appearing on pages
in Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Playboy or Penthouse. Her change to adult cinema was recognized in 2000 as Tera Patrick have starred,
directed and produced great adult films and FICEB wants to make a tribute to her with this homage.
RETROSPECTIVE ABOUT SPANISH CINEMA FROM THE '80's
There will also be a presentation of the best Spanish adult films from the 80's, presented by some of the most important
actors and actresses, as the retrospective category of this edition.
THE NAMES
A lot of international artists will be seen at FICEB 2008. A few of the confirmed names are Silvia Saint, Tera Patrick, Angel
Dark, Susie Daimond, Sarah Twain, Yasmine, Katsuni, Melissa Lauren, Lauro Giotto, Steve Holmes, Roberto Malone, Rita Faltoyano,
Melany More, Vicky Versace, Jane Darling and Claudia Claire among others.
Recognized Spanish artist will also be present : Nacho Vidal, Sonia Baby, Anastasia Mayo, Dunia Montenegro, Natalia Zeta,
Salma de Nora, Lesly Kiss, Roberto Chivas, Ana Ros, Sara May, Sandra G and Monica Vera
HARD ZONE
The venue, Fabrik, will be divided into three big areas: Hard Zone, Party Zone and Artist Zone. The first one will feature
hardcore porn shows, which will include performances of the most famous artists of the moment, a casting to discover new talents,
a set to shoot films, a fetish show and a swingers' area. Once again will FICEB contribute to film production and education
of new professionals. Directed by Pepe Catman, the set will host a film production where the public will participate in some
important roles. All the secrets about film making, from make-up to the design will be revealed by some of the most experienced
directors.
PARTY ZONE
The Party Zone will host the concerts, the strip-teases, the projections of the films nominated for the Ninfa Awards and
the photo sets where the public can pose with their idols. In this area there will also be several erotic and fun offers,
like the sexual Clair voyeur, an erotic cartoonist, the kissing-dome and a erotic clairvoyance and a sexy dartboard.
ARTIST ZONE
The Artist Zone will host the exhibiting companies, theme areas and entertainment. 25 booths with producers like IFG, Negro
y Azul, X Canal, Ruta 69, X Films, Zona 8, Vendiocio, Stars&Satmps, Woodman, Kemaco y Masimo. Other companies that have confirmed
their presence are Sexigames, AZ Intercative, Marqueze, 3GSX y T Moovile.
Territorio Canalla
The Artist Zone will include entertainment with the participation Club Canalla in Territoriy Canalla. This initiative by
Guillermo Hernáiz, director of the magazinea Primera Linea, will include music shows by Vinilla Von Bismark, Chimo Bayo,
Dirty Princesa, Lorena C and Calcetines y cachetes DJ sessions, a photo-casting, tuppersex sessions and bodypainting competition.
The magazine Primera LÃnea will also show its best photos and covers.
PARALLEL ACTIVITIES
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION OF THE BEST FROM FICEB'S FIRST 15 YEARS
The best history of the 15 years of the Festival will be shown by pictures shot by photographers like Natasha Merrit, Joan
Crisol, Quim Llenas and Jaliff will complete the FICEB's activities in Madrid.
