Keynote Address:

Evil Angel founder John Stagliano will present the keynote address at Internext. The keynote will take place at noon, on Saturday, August 9. Stagliano, who is facing a federal obscenity prosecution, said he is honored by the opportunity to speak to members of the adult industry and have the chance to present his take on obscenity prosecutions.

'I'm not a lawyer, and I can't really give any sort of legal advice, but I don't want to present the same outlook that a lot of lawyers do,' he said. 'Many lawyers, when it comes to obscenity, have this doom'and-gloom outlook on things, and I want to get across the message that life and work doesn't have to be that way.'

Known for his Las Vegas stage production of The Fashionistas, and the DVD series of the same name, Stagliano and Evil Angel are the most recognizable names in what has become a full slate of recent obscenity prosecutions that includes Max Hardcore, Ray Guhn and Ira Isaacs. 'Obscenity prosecutions are one of the most pertinent issues facing the adult industry right now,' said MJ McMahon, publisher of AVN Online. 'While life goes on for the rest of us, the insight someone like John Stagliano can provide is unequaled. We are honored to have him as part of our event.'

DeeCash Event:

In what could be one of the biggest Internext parties in years, affiliate program DeeCash will host a floating fete on Friday, Aug. 8. "Bringing Vegas to Miami" is the theme of the event, which will take place on Miami's only floating casino and will feature a full bar, a full casino and more.

"We just wanted to thank our affiliates, contribute back and show our support," said Terrence, aka Thurbs, vice president of operations. To take things just one step further, DeeCash will provide $1,000 chips for the casino for qualified attendants of the Casino Cruise Party. Details can be found here.

Though the event is open to anyone in the industry, there are limited spaces. Registration can be found here. "It's time to do some drinking, some dancing, even more gambling and a lot of networking," company officials said. "We want to meet everyone, and what better way than a big floating open bar and casino!"

Those registered for the party will take luxury buses from the Westin Diplomat to the port, and must be prepared to show a valid ID due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations. The boat will set sail at 8:30 p.m.
