Adult and mainstream Actor, and television and Internet host, James Bartholet (www.insidetheindustry.net)
will be conducting a new acting workshop on April 18th and 19th. Geared toward adult performers who want to sharpen their
acting chops, the one day workshops will cover the basics of acting and improvisation, with on camera tapings of acting scenes.
The workshops will be in West Hollywood.
The classes are four to five hours long, and interested students can sign up for either the Friday or Saturday workshop,
and will start at 1:00pm.
'With many features being shot, and performers wanting to make that transition into mainstream, I think this will be a great
workshop for them to take, and we've had some great response to this workshop' said Bartholet. 'We will go over scene study,
character development, improvisation skills, and we will tape a scene that the students pick from a mainstream film, television,
or stage production'.
Bartholet has many years experience in acting and directing in the mainstream industry, and acts in many adult features.
He recently was an AVN 2008 Best Performance Non Sex Nominee for Sex Z Pictures 'The Real Boogie Nights'. Bartholet recently
completed filming on X Play and Adam & Eve's production of 'Not Bewitched XXX.'
Bartholet studied at ACT in San Francisco, and with various acting coaches in the Los Angeles area. Bartholet has a degree
from Los Angeles Valley College. Bartholet has several acting awards and nominations from his many years on stage. Bartholet
has performed in various stage productions from coast to coast, as well as television and films, and performed sketch comedy
at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, and The Improv. He has worked on film for such mainstream directors as Blake Edwards,
Donald Bellisario, Richard Donner, and David Lynch.
