Porn star Jennifer Steele found herself in dire straits recently when Hurricane Wilma hit her home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Steele posted a notice to her concerned fans on The Erotic Review, a popular adult forum, on October 26th.

"It's crazy down here," said Steele. "I'm writing to you on my laptop with my cellular Internet connection, although my cell has no service, figure that out! I've spent the last four hours trying to figure out how to conserve the last eighth tank of gas I have left. The city has gas, but no way to power the pumps, so even if you want to get out of here, you can't. My house in Ft. Lauderdale is externally thrashed, but the worst that happened from the inside was an air conditioner that flew through my bedroom window. We no longer have running water and if we did, we can't drink it."

Steele eventually evacuated the city and headed for Miami to check out a strip club her team had bought the week prior. Thankfully, no damage was done to the venue. Goldfinger Miami, soon to be Showgirls, Inc., is the newest acquisition of Own A Strip Club and their team, where Steele serves as spokesmodel and head of advertising.
