Kick Ass Pictures is hosting a "Kick Ass Art" show in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, October 1st at the company's porn warehouse.

The art show will feature a bevy of porn stars who will be serving drinks as well as putting on a "special performance" during the evening. DJ Flowers will be spinning music throughout the night.

Kick Ass Pictures president Mark Kulkis says the art show is "groundbreaking" by being held at a porn company headquarters for the first time. The theme is "High Art in a Low Art setting."

"I love all kinds of art," Kulkis said. "I'm a contributing member to both MOCA and LACMA, and I buy artwork on a regular basis. This show is a way for me to leverage my unique position as a producer of 'low art' to help worthy young artists get both recognition and, hopefully, make some sales. My goal is to help put these four artists in a position where they can make a living from their art. In addition to buyers, I'm hoping that gallery owners will come to the show, because all these artists certainly deserve gallery representation."

The event will showcase four artists: Nathan Cartwright, Joy Hikade, Robert Reedy, and Paige Wery and 100-percent of the sales will go directly to the artists.
