On Friday evening, January 8, The Class Of 2010 - Cleopatra of the Nile, Roxanne Hall, Kylie Ireland, Joanna Storm and Peter North - will be inducted into The Legends Of Erotica, along with the posthumous acknowledgement of Shauna Grant, during the 17th annual Hall of Fame event at Showgirl Video (631 South Las Vegas Blvd.) in Las Vegas.

The procedure involves the placing into cement of various body parts (the choices of which are left up to each inductee) preceded by warm words of sincere admiration from a person (or more) specially chosen by each inductee to do the honors. All is played out before an audience of adoring and attentive fans. It is always an evening of such reverence, that it once prompted me to say, 'You could hear a pubic hair hitting the floor.' Or, as I appropriately noted while I was inducting the late Linda Lovelace in 2003, 'Only a cash register ringing.'
