If you're a fan attending the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas this January, then you really shouldn't miss the Legends Of Erotica event held this year on Friday, January 7th at 8:30 pm, at Showgirl Video. Proceeds from the event will be divided between P.A.W. Foundation (Protecting Adult Welfare) and Free Speech Coalition. P.A.W. Foundation (Protecting Adult Welfare) is a longstanding non-profit organization founded by Bill Margold to help members of the adult industry community face the kinds of crises endemic to the sex business -- mental, physical and legal.

The show begins each year with the Legends of Erotica induction ceremonies. Raymond Pistol, owner of Arrow Productions as well as numerous other ventures, has turned one of his Las Vegas adult bookstores, Showgirl Video, into a shrine and location for this annual event. The walls in the warehouse-sized room are lined with large squares of cement decorated with signatures, boob and butt prints, and other adult video memorabilia.

Every year, this high-profile media and fan bonanza features some excellent talent. Adult Stars Selena Steele and Bridgette Monroe will host with MC Bill Margold. (Adult film star Summer Haze has gracefully stepped aside as the hostess for the show this year.) This year's inductions will honor Angel Kelly, Mai Lin, Lynn LeMay, Johnny Keyes and Shayla La Veaux. The guest inductor for Angel will be Porsche Lynn; for Mai Linn Nina Hartley; and for Johnny Rhonda Jo Petty. The chosen few inductees are honored with an induction ceremony, including a ceremonial imprint of a body part in cement. During the ceremonies, while the next batch of cement is firming up, each participant makes a short speech and fields questions about themselves and the business from the fans and press in the audience.

Following the inductions will be an evening of feature dancing, starring headliners Selena Steele, Bridgette Monroe and a new class of feature entertainers -- to be announced. This whole event is a lot of fun for fans; it's one of the few place you'll have a chance to share in the industry's expression of thanks to its own.
