www.striptheplay.com 'Strip' Ends Lauded Run at Hayworth Studio Theatre February 21 Friday, February 20 & Saturday, February 21 At 8pm Hayworth Studio Theatre In Los Angeles, CA
From Black And Blue Media:
Writer and director, George Damian takes the audience inside the fictional Sunset Lounge, for a final look at the greed, jealousy,
lust and laughs behind the pole in 'Strip', as it finishes its lauded five week run at the Hayworth Studio Theatre on Saturday,
February 21, 2009.
Based on true stories Damian collected during his time as an adult nightclub DJ and manager, 'Strip' centers on the new girl
dancing under the stage name of America, portrayed with a winsome naiveté by Tammy Felice (pictured). In line with current
events, Damian's lead character, America finds herself a contender in the reality show, "American Singer", only to learn that
sometimes the secrets of leading a double life to pay the rent can become messy.
Sometimes raw, always entertaining, 'Strip' combines drama and comedy as the story of the Sunset Lounge unfolds. Bring your
dollar bills, as these ladies strut their stuff and take to the stage to perform on the pole for your enjoyment. Each performance
of 'Strip' features a different professional house dancer from a Los Angeles adult club, who opens the show with her signature
pole performance.
The final performances of 'Strip' take place at 8:00PM on Friday and Saturday, February 20 and 21, 2009. Although there is
no nudity in the play, it does contain mature themes and language, and is intended for audiences 18 years of age and older.
The Hayworth Theatre is located at 2509 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. Entrance for The Hayworth Studio Theatre is located
on South Carondelete Street. Public parking is adjacent to the main theatre on Wilshire Blvd.
