The Tranny Awards are moving to a larger venue to accommodate the growing number of attendees. The show has been moved to the historic Los Globos Nightclub - the spot of the first rave in the U.S. and one of the first gay clubs in Los Angeles. Located at 3040 West Sunset Boulevard. The club just received a million dollar facelift making it even plusher. The 4th Annual Tranny Awards will still be on Sunday, February 19th, but the red carpet is now starting at 8:30 pm and the awards at 10 pm. 'So many models, fans and industry members want to come out and we’ve sold a slew of tickets - it only makes sense to move the awards to a larger space, we want to ensure that everybody can attend who wishes to,' says Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions.
