www.WankPunter.com, arguably one of the most explosive power pop bands to emerge from the city of Toronto for some time, is getting set to make their 3rd appearance on Playboy TV's Night Calls (February 9th., 9pm PST) with Jesse Jane (www.jessejane.com) and Kirsten Price (twitter.com/Kirsten_Price) .

They're also about to unleash their brand of rock n' roll mayhem on an unsuspecting mainstream public with what the band refers to as their 'official' debut CD.

According to Feedback, guitarist for the band, there was another CD that preceded this one. 'We all look at that first disc as a pre-production demo that led to the product we have right now.' He continues, 'Only 7 tracks from the original demo survived the cut for the CD we're about to release. The remaining 5 ended up becoming archives and will be made available as a download in our free members section.'

Packed with track after track of infectious hooks, hilarious lyrics, great production, and performed by a band that can REALLY PLAY, there's no denying that there's a hint of something magical happening here.

Not content to remain pidgeon-holed into any one specific genre, Wank Punter confidently explores a myriad of styles and they blend it all so well within the framework of their 'sound'. Whether it's balls-out stadium rock, power pop, latin grooves, panty-removing rock ballads or even reggae, it all melds into an unmistakeable aural experience that you're going to want to experience again and again.
