www.ztod.com Zero Tolerance Party: Two Industry Band Reunions Friday, August 21 From 10:30pm Paladino's In Reseda, CA
From Mike Quasar:
AVN award winning Director Mike Quasar of Zero Tolerance Entertainment and veteran industry shooter Matt Holder are dusting off the distortion pedals and reuniting 'Say Uncle', the
band that brought them both to California from Canada twenty years ago this summer. The event promises to be a great night
of high octane old school metal which Quasar hopes will be well attended by many of the ladies who have appeared before their
respective cameras over the years.
'I help these girls make their car payments every month and buy gifts for their suitcase-pimp boyfriends. They better show
up at my gig!!' says Quasar, possibly only half-joking. 'Matt and I moved to L.A with the rest of our band in 1989 determined
to be huge rock stars. We failed miserably but for whatever reason, we ended up being pretty successful in the porn business.
We thought it would be fun to get everyone back together to kick some ass one more time before we head off into middle age'
he adds.
Say Uncle played all of the biggest clubs in L.A 'back in the day' including the Whisky, the Roxy and Gazzaris (now the Key
Club) until 1993 when grunge swept the entire music scene up to Seattle. The reunion show will take place Friday August 21st
at Paladinos, 6101 Reseda Blvd, Tarzana Ca. Admission is ten dollars at the door. Among those confirmed to attend is AVN hall
of famer Debi Diamond, 'Bionca and I used to go out to see Say Uncle when they were just young, cute, hairless boys. I can't
wait to see them as grown men'
Also on the bill is Voodoo Circus featuring Vivid and Peach DVD alum Jim Monroe on guitar and Juicy Entertainment sales director
Danny Gorman on drums. Show times are 10:30pm for Voodoo Circus and 11:30pm for Say Uncle.
