The Pirate’s Movie That Won’t Be Second To Anyone

(Los Angeles, CA)- Last night in downtown Los Angeles the Digital Playground Company threw a premiere party for the new “Pirates II” movie the gala event rocked like a mainstream Hollywood red carpet soirée

We want to make clear the differences between a porn party and a company movie premiere party. First off the red carpet is filled with stars and more stars, not all red carpets are created equal. I mean my goodness I met Al Pachino’s sister last night. Both she and Al live in the area and she just stopped by because it seemed like and nice event.

Everything that you would expect to happen at a premiere adult event happened. All the stars were out; the red carpet was filled with both mainstream and adult press. The movie poster was prominently displayed all over the theatre. There were refreshments and drinks before the screening began and there was a glitzy buzz in the air that can only feel at a true gala event.

The A! Entertainment crew had the first spot on the red carpet so we were also in charge of announcing the stars names as they passed by but this was only after we stopped them for a short interview. Next to us was the camera crew from Xfanz and next to them was the crew from AVN and on down the edge of the carpet. Camera crews were set up to get a look and hopefully a video nugget from the stars as they walked by. There was even a crew from a comedy site set up along side us for a while, they knew the major players but had to learn the starlets names on the fly. Of course I let them know the value of interviewing me and how valuable that footage would be, they did, it was a funny one too.

As the red carpet took an L turn the second area was set up for the still photographers. That area got so overflowed with eager shooters that a second row platform had to be set up for them to all fit in the area. It had to be a nightmare for the event security people as they tried to keep everyone in their place while attempting to keep the crowd flowing down the carpet in a timely manor.

We had to go into our “It’s all about me and my crew” attitude as the jockeying for position got more intense during the open carpet time. I like to do this with a smile and laugh or two, the A! Crew red carpet director is normally in charge of being the bad guy. Zander Kane was in charge of this part, and with him just recently joining the A! Crew we have to give him big props for doing a great job. DCypher who was there covering the event for Fleshbot bet me 20 bucks that I was going to get decked by one of the security team before the carpet closed because we were constantly being asked to stay in our spot, DCypher now owes me 20 bucks because we got all the footage we needed, and we made it through the couple of hours with out as much as a fat lip or black eye. …….
