Who’s Covering Internext? Besides AVN, Who Has To? Maybe No One.
There’s been an astoundingly small amount of coverage of Internext so far - is anybody covering this event? What’s attendance look like? How’s the hotel? How were the morning’s seminars?
Does anybody even care, after AEE was more disappointing than anybody expected?
So far it looks like only AVN cares.
XBIZ has probably realized that it’s in its interest NOT to cover the show. They’ll just do a wrap-up piece on Wednesday night. After all, they want you to attend THEIR webmaster show in February, where pretty much the same people (Larry Flynt) will say the same things at seminars, poolside, at the bar, etc. And it’ll be awesome: it’s in Woodland Hills, only a couple minutes away from, um, a couple Korean BBQ places and Yang Chow on Topanga.
Oh, what a glamorous, powerful, sexy industry.
P.S. I’ve just read the XBIZ Internext wrap-up article I predicted above. Take a look: http://www.xbiz.com/news/103685. Does it even read as if the author was there? Looks just like the list of Internext parties to me.
